About the Artists
Micheline Rama is an artist, writer, creative director and strategist specialising in movement building, advocacy campaigning, and creative activism. She was educated at the University of the Philippines, Diliman – College of Fine Arts and completed her residency at the School of Visual Arts – Design for Social Change programme in New York City. Her activist art has appeared in the United States, France, South Korea and the Philippines. (2017)
Andrei Venal received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the PWU – School of Fine Arts and Design in 2010. He started working on art and design jobs while he was still a student. After earning his degree, he worked for a production house, an NGO and an advertising agency, as a graphic designer, copywriter and art director. In 2011 to 2013, Venal taught visual communication, art direction and design theory as part of the Fine Arts and Design Department faculty of The PWU School of Fine Arts and Design while giving service to the university as the art and design manager for marketing and corporate affairs.
